Kare’s 14th Annual Day Celebration

Chennai, 1st March 2025 – Kare celebrated its grand 14th Annual Day with great enthusiasm and joy, marking a day filled with talent, inclusivity, and significant milestones. The event was held in two sessions, each featuring esteemed guests, vibrant performances, and noteworthy inaugurations.

The morning session was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Nachiketa Rout, Director of the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities, along with Guest of Honor Dr. Tamilselvan, Assistant Professor of Special Education at Tamil Nadu Open University. Also joining the occasion were renowned music director Mr. Achu Raja Mani and Mr. Basith, Founder of We Are Your Voice. Their presence inspired and motivated the young participants.

With the participation of 15 schools and around 200 children with special needs, the session featured a series of spectacular performances, including dance, music, skits, and a colorful fancy dress display. The highlight of the morning was the official inauguration of SRZ Kare Edu-Health Services, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at bridging the gap between education and healthcare services for children with special needs.

The afternoon session witnessed another set of distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Ms. Geetha Priya, Advocate and Director of Special Olympics Bharat, Chennai – North Zone, was joined by Guest of Honors Mr. Chetan Korada, a trailblazing Indian racer, Mr. Prithviraj, Secretary of the Chennai District Amateur Boxing Association, Mr. Sajith Sathak, Correspondent of Haneediah School, and Mr. Basith, Founder of We Are Your Voice. Their presence added to the significance of the occasion.

In the second session, another 15 schools and 200 children with special needs participated, showcasing their creativity and talent through similar engaging performances. This session also saw the inauguration of the Kare Sports Academy, a major step forward in promoting physical well-being and sports development for children, including those with special needs.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees. Parents, teachers, and students lauded Kare’s continuous efforts toward holistic development and inclusivity. The Annual Day celebration was not just an occasion of joy and festivity but also a testament to Kare’s unwavering commitment to education, health, and sports for all.
