Madras on Music 2023 Unveils Chennai’s Biggest 2-day Global Indie Alt Music Festival
- 2-day passes start from Rs. 999, Four Zones created for fans to experience a bit of everything
Chennai, 24th July 2023: Madras on Music, Chennai’s first Global Indie music festival presented by ACTC Studio in association with Art 64, has announced the launch of a two-day Indie Alt Music Festival, marking a historic moment for Chennai’s music scene. With the trending tagline #Namma Ooru, #Global Sound,” the festival is scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th July 2023 at Adityaram Palace City, ECR, Chennai.
Madras on Music promises to be an unforgettable celebration of pure Indie Music, tailor-made for Indie music enthusiasts. The festival’s lineup boasts of 20 impressive world-renowned artists and offers a diverse array of immersive experiences. Ticket passes for the two-day event start from Rs. 999 onwards.
Renowned international artists such as Oorka, Yogi B & Natchatra, Antony in Party, Sean Roldan and Friends, Stephen Zechariah, Oorali, Drum Fighters, Jhanu, Skrat, 7 Bantaiz, Mapulz, Kaber Vasuki, Paul Jacob and the Folk Agenda, Othasevuru, Ammar808, Madurai Soul Jour, DJ Uri and Paper Queen, Paal Dabba, Devoid, Kavin and the Puli Cats, Iykki Berry, Navz-47, will grace the stage and perform amidst the backdrop of a campfire.
Chennai will play host to over 20 Indie artists, with an expected audience of over 5000 fans who will be witnessing this unique two-day musical extravaganza. The organizers aim to celebrate weekends and immerse attendees in Chennai’s distinctive blend of music, food, and fun.
Madras on Music is set to become an annual event and the organizing team is dedicated to delivering a world-class experience in a captivating setting.
“We have an impressive lineup of artists from across the world, representing diverse genres of music, including heart-pounding EDM, Pop, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Folk, Reggae, and more. We have also created four zones: Four Zones : the Fun Zone, Fan Zone, Flea Market and General Zones. These zones have been conceived to enable all our fans experience atleast one the zones depending on the passes they hold,” said Mr. Hemanth, Founder of ACTC Studio and Mr. Santhosh, Founder of Art 64.
The festival grounds have been thoughtfully chosen to offer festivalgoers an unparalleled experience, with sprawling green landscapes providing the perfect setting for connecting and enjoying music. The event will feature a carnival setup showcasing delectable multi-cuisine food & beverages, performances by artists around a campfire, an after-party show, and a networking dinner, all designed to transport attendees to a haven of tranquility and creativity.
