Spotlighting Madras’ Most Iconic Spots Cavin’s Rolls Out Sip and Snap Contest for Madras Day; Announces 5 Lucky Winners

Chennai, 30th August, 2024: Capturing the essence of Madras’ landmark heritage, Cavin’s, the flagship dairy brand from the house of CavinKare rolled out a social media campaign in celebration of Madras Day. Titled Sip and Snap, the contest encouraged participants to share a photograph featuring Cavin’s Milkshakes at Chennai’s iconic locations; out of which five were chosen through a lucky draw. By following @cavinsmilkshake on social media, participants were encouraged to visit a notable landmark in Chennai, capture a creative photo with a Cavin’s milkshake, and showcase their local adventure. To enter, they could share their photo on Instagram Stories, tagging Cavin’s for a chance to win. Alternatively, they could send their photo directly via message to, using the hashtag #CavinsInMadras. The contest not only celebrated the elements of the city but also invited the community to share their own special moments with Cavin’s, creating memorable connections.

In response to a tremendous outpouring of participation from across Chennai, Cavin’s selected five winners whose photos best captured Madras in a fresh, engaging way. The winning entries stood out for their ability to blend personal creativity with Chennai’s rich cultural heritage, bringing a sense of shared joy and local pride in each photograph. The first place was awarded to Mr. Ruthish for capturing the landmark LIC building with Cavin’s milkshake in hand, while Ms. Hajirasheed Haroon secured the second place for her beautiful shot of Chennai Central. Meanwhile, Ms. Kritika won the third place for her captivating photograph of the bustling streets of TNagar; and the fourth and fifth places were secured by Mr Kapil and Ms Latha Arunkumar for their creative snaps of Asia’s oldest extant- Madras Christian College and popular Anna Nagar Tower, respectively.

The winners of Cavin’s Sip and Snap contest were rewarded with exclusive Cavin’s goodies to reflect the brand’s appreciation for their active participation along with a feature on Cavin’s official social media platforms, providing them with well-deserved recognition.
