SRM Public School Sports Day Celebrations Guduvancheri, July 21- 2023
SRM Public School celebrated its annual sports day competition was held over two days. Nandivaram- Guduvanchery Municipality, Nellikuppam Road Sports competitions were held in the school on Thursday and Friday.
International Badminton player Ms. Nila participated in a sports tournament for primary schools on Thursday. Sports for secondary schools held yesterday
Dilip Rogers, who became India’s first superbike rider in the event, graced the occasion as the special guest.
Correspondent of the school M.Subramanian, Advisor Dr. Malathi and school principal Bhuvaneshwari welcomed the gathering led by the school music group.
The four teams of the school had a colorful parade. The Olympic flame was lit by special guests and continued to set records in the education and arts category. Students carried the flame in a crawl and lit the Olympic torch.
170 athletics and field events held in the school, awarded medals to 1200 students and trophies to 10 students. Four colourful teams paraded, the Blue Ruby team won the victory trophy in the parade and the Emerald team won the premier trophy for the year 2023-2024 in the two-day tournament.
