Chennai, July 25th, 2025: In an inspiring initiative to empower youth as changemakers and leaders of tomorrow, Casagrand International School, a leading educational institution from the prestigious Casagrand Group, today inaugurated the 14th edition of the International Indian Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N) Tamil Nadu Conference 2025. Held in the city, this one-of-a-kind event hosted for and by the youth, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 student delegates, and 100+ principals and institutional leaders from 70+ leading schools across Tamil Nadu. The three-day conference will further see students engaging in high-intensity debates, drafting resolutions, and defending ideas on topics such as climate change, global conflict resolution, gender equity and national education reforms showcasing their evolving understanding of the world’s most urgent issues.
The grand inaugural ceremony was honoured by the esteemed presence of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Former Vice President of India, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Keerthi Pandian, acclaimed South-Indian actor, as the Guest of Honour, whose inspiring addresses set the tone for a high-impact, youth-led dialogue on contemporary global and national issues. Other dignitaries like Mr. Rishabh Shah, Founder of I.I.M.U.N, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations (New York), and Ms. Dorothy Thomas, Correspondent of Casagrand International School were also present at the inauguration event.
