A defining feature of this year’s Freshers’ Induction Programme was the landmark announcement of over ₹5 crore worth of scholarships, reaffirming HITS’ commitment to empowering students, fostering inclusivity, and nurturing excellence across academic, athletic, and community domains. This robust scholarship portfolio is designed not only to recognise merit but also to break down socio-economic barriers, enabling deserving students to access world-class education without financial constraints.
At the pinnacle of these initiatives is the 100% tuition fee waiver for top rank holders in Plus 2 or equivalent examinations—a direct investment in intellectual capital that rewards academic brilliance at the very start of the students’ higher education journey. Complementing this, the Sports Excellence Scholarship stands as a testament to HITS’ belief in holistic development—granting exceptional athletes full tuition waivers, free accommodation, specialised training, and opportunities to compete at national and international levels, thereby fostering a balance between sporting glory and academic rigor.
