Over 500 Athletes from 45 Chapters Across India Participate in a Spectacular Three-Day Sporting Extravaganza
Chennai, June 22, 2026: The JITO Sports National Games 2026, one of the flagship initiatives of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Apex, concluded successfully in Chennai after three days of spirited competition, camaraderie, and sporting excellence. Hosted by the JITO Chennai Chapter from June 20 to 22, 2026, the biennial national sporting event brought together more than 500 young athletes from 45 JITO Chapters across India, reinforcing JITO’s vision of nurturing sporting talent and fostering holistic youth development within the Jain community.
The prestigious event was organized under the leadership of Rajesh Chandan, Chairman, JITO Chennai Chapter; Rajesh Jain, Vice Chairman; Akash Kumar Jain, Chief Secretary; Ajay Nahar, Convener – JITO Sports Chennai; Rajesh Shah, Sports Secretary; and Sapan Shah, Chapter Secretary, supported by a dedicated organizing committee of over 135 volunteers and committee members.
Athletes competed across eight sporting disciplines — Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Table Tennis, Chess, Long Jump, and Shot Put — in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19 categories. The Games witnessed 61 gold medal events and 183 podium finishes, showcasing extraordinary talent, determination, and sportsmanship among young participants.
One of the most memorable moments of the Games was the “Walk of Pride” at Chennai’s iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where athletes from all participating chapters marched together in a powerful display of unity, discipline, and community spirit.
The inaugural and closing ceremonies were graced by distinguished dignitaries from JITO Apex, including Kamlesh Sojatia (Vice President), Narendra Srisrimal (Vice President), Sripal Bachawat (Secretary), D.K. Jain (Joint Treasurer), Vicky Oswal (Chairman, JITO Sports Apex), Aditya Lodha (Vice Chairman, JITO Sports Apex), and Amol Kucharia (National Convener, JITO Sports Apex), along with community leaders, sponsors, and prominent members from across the country.
The event also reflected JITO’s commitment to making sports accessible and inclusive. Participants were accommodated at premium hospitality venues in Chennai, with comprehensive arrangements for accommodation, meals, transportation, logistics, and sporting infrastructure provided through a highly subsidized registration model.
At the conclusion of the Games, JITO Chennai Chapter emerged as the Overall Champion, while JITO Pune Chapter secured the Runner-Up position.

The successful execution of the Games was further strengthened by the technical and operational support of GSEM, led by Mohit and Nikhil, ensuring seamless management throughout the event.
