Chennai, February 12, 2026: Riding the momentum of India’s historic maiden Squash World Cup title, the HCL Squash Indian Tour arrived in the capital, with Delhi hosting world-class competition at the Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR campus, from 12-16 February 2026. Organised by HCL Group in partnership with the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI), the five-day tournament will feature 48 elite athletes from eight countries competing for Professional Squash Association (PSA) world ranking points. Reinforcing its commitment to gender parity in sport, the event will offer an equal prize purse of USD 6,000 in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Delhi is the sixth stop on the national circuit following successful legs in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. As India continues to establish itself as a serious force in global squash, with six players currently ranked in the PSA Top 100, the tournament serves as an important competitive proving ground for Indian players to test themselves against international opposition.

With squash confirmed for its Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028, the stakes across the global circuit have intensified.

The Delhi PSA features players from Egypt, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Malta, and India. Indian players Tanvi Khanna (World No. 85) and Rathika Suthanthira Seelan (World No. 136) will be among those competing, alongside international players such as Malaysia’s Addeen Idrakie (World No. 118) and Egypt’s Menna Walid (World No. 88).

Rajat Chandolia, AVP & Head, Brand and Strategy, HCL Group, said, “At HCL, our focus has always been on building a strong and consistent high-performance pathway for Indian players. By bringing PSA-level competition to cities across the country, including the capital, we are enabling our athletes to compete regularly against international talent, earn crucial ranking points, and prepare for the increasing demands of the global circuit, especially as the sport moves towards its Olympic debut in Los Angeles 2028.”

Since 2016, the partnership between HCL and SRFI has delivered more than 40 professional tournaments, benefiting over 1,000 Indian players. Beyond squash, HCL’s long-term investment in sports such as cyclothon and bridge reflect a broader commitment to building sustainable, high-quality sporting pathways in India.

Fans will witness five days of intense competition and squash excellence at Shiv Nadar University Delhi- NCR, further strengthening India’s preparations for squash’s Olympic debut.
