Highlighting the importance of keeping heritage alive, she noted, “If even one generation stops practicing traditions, they risk being lost forever,” while adding that “heritage must be lived, adapted, and made relevant.” Speaking on culture and craft, she asserted, “It cannot survive as charity,it must evolve with time,” and underscored the larger impact of heritage, stating, “Tourism sustains culture, creates livelihoods, and strengthens communities.” On inclusion and progress, she observed, “Even if representation begins as tokenism, it opens doors,” ultimately concluding, “Legacy is not about holding on to the past,it is about shaping the future with intention, rooted in who we are.”

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amulya Rao, Chairperson, FLO Chennai, emphasized the importance of such dialogues in fostering meaningful conversations around leadership and legacy, especially in today’s rapidly evolving world.
