Yogotsav 2024 Celebrates International Day of Yoga with Grandeur
Chennai, May : Yogotsav 2024, a prestigious event commemorating the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2024, unfolded in Chennai with immense fervor and participation. Hosted by Narchinthanai Vattam, IYA-TNSC, in collaboration with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the event marked a significant milestone in promoting the profound benefits of yoga.
Distinguished yoga luminary, Prof. Dr. R. Elangovan, graced the occasion as the esteemed chief guest, adding prestige and wisdom to the celebration. With the theme “Yoga for Women’s Empowerment,” IDY 2024 aimed to spotlight the holistic well-being of women across physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
The festivities encompassed a rich tapestry of activities, including the practice of the IDY common yoga protocol, insightful seminars on yoga, and invigorating yoga competitions.
