Former director of AIIMS Raipur joins SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre
Professor Dr Nitin Madhusudan Nagarkar who is the former director of AIIMS Raipur has now joined SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre as a dean recently. The eminent doctor has a profound standing in the medical field with an experience of more than three decades.
SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre also popularly known as SRMMCHRC is a multi-speciality hospital located at Kattankulathur near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Dr Nitin was director of AIIMS Raipur for a duration of 11 years.
He also held the additional charge of AIIMS Bhopal. It is interesting to note that the eminent physician received MS degree in ENT from PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Former director of AIIMS Raipur is an accomplished ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon with special interest in Oncosurgery.
He has more than 100 scientific publications. Dr Nitin has been member of various important committees and visited many centres in India and abroad.
He is a proud recipient of many awards and orations. Prof Nitin said he was delighted to join SRMMCHRC which is known to be one of the top most medical institutions of the country.
He expressed confidence that with the support of top leadership at SRM, he would reach greater heights in the aspects of patient care, medical education, research and innovation.
