The Sustainability and Environment Cell, STUDENTS’ ExNoRa, in collaboration with the IQAC of Bhaktavatsalam Memorial College for Women, Chennai, proudly celebrated the 3rd-year installation of Students’ ExNoRa on August 23rd, 2024. The event was inaugurated by Mr. A.J. Hariharan, founder of the Indian Community Welfare Organization, Chennai, who officially launched the Students’ Chapter 2024.
The newly elected office bearers were introduced, and students took an oath led by Dr. K.J. Umadevi, Convenor of Youth ExNoRa International, to actively support environmental protection and nurture Mother Nature. The new leadership team includes Ms. S. Suvashini as President, Ms. S. Vishnupriya as Secretary, Ms. S.M. Tikshanna as Joint Secretary, Ms. A. Radhika as Treasurer, and Vice Presidents Ms. K. Hemavathy, Ms. R. Priyadharshini, Ms. V. Debora Rene, and Ms. M. Jessica Judith.
A key highlight of the event was an insightful session on “Anti-Human Trafficking” delivered by the Chief Guest. His engaging discussion with students and faculty members emphasized the importance of raising awareness about anti-human activities. The event, attended by over 200 students, concluded with a powerful collective pledge against child marriage, showcasing the community’s strong commitment to driving positive social change.
